WELCOME TO PARKGATE NURSERY

As educators, we commit to encouraging our children to become independent and resilient through

nurture and risk in an enabling and safe and inclusive environment.

Our children will be engaged in play, exploration and active learning with practitioners who will build on

their interests and provide quality interactions that create a drive to explore.

We want our children to build positive relationships and become confident and sociable

by providing a safe fun and happy learning experience.

It is our aim to send happy learners on their journey to reception class.

We feel privileged to be able to share in your child’s learning journey and

OUR NURSERY GOALS

As children, it is important to have child-friendly learning goals.

Parkgate nursery learning goals are visible in the environment and referred to by educators to

motivate and give a sense of achievement and pride.

When children are in discovery and teaching moments the adults will comment on goals that they are achieving

until they are able to recognise this themselves and share it with others.

This lays the foundation for taking responsibility for their own learning

as they journey through Parkgate Primary School.
